To The Lincoln Symphony Orchestra
We are a friendly, amateur orchestra that plays at least four concerts a year in and around the city of Lincoln. Rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings at Canwick Village Hall 7.30 – 9.30 p.m.

orchestra workshop: sunday 25th September
Open to all orchestra members and non-members (minimum Grade 6 is required). To be held at The Grandstand, Carholme Road, Lincoln LN1 1SE studying Berlioz: Symphony Fantastique. Two professional musicians tutor the workshop. The day involves full orchestra and sectional rehearsals. Only £5 to attend, with thanks to the Postlethwaite Music Foundation for sponsoring this event. This is a brilliant day and you don’t need to be a member of the orchestra to attend. Like many amateur orchestras, we rely entirely upon members’ subscriptions, ticket sales and the support of our Friends to continue the tradition of live music in Lincoln. You could become a Friend of the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra for a minimum of £20 per annum and receive a number of benefits in return.
